When the power's out, turn to blogging ;)

Excuse me fopr any spelling or grammar errors. but I am now blogging during an unexpected power cut, and trust me, it aint easy when there's no light on yout keyboard....

So another day on the blog, and its been a good one :) Today was pretty chilled at uni. I had decided to drive in by car, as we had to collect all outstanding portfolios and ,models that had already been moderated, and travelling with all that baggage by train would be like Mission Impossible 5!!

Got into uni at about 9am, and strolled into the pc room knowing we had some time to spare before the lecturer was to arrive. The lesson of the day revolved around the workplace, and we had spoken about the expectation, concerns, and life skills needed to perform during our practical year. I will upload our findings regarding these topics as soon as the power returns and can find where i had noted them down.

i MUST go!! laptop just about to die!

Here's to the start of many great things... :)

This morning i woke up, and thought to myself: 'Do i reaaaaly have to go into uni today?' It's been a hectic few weeks with the Major Integrated project and all, and knowing that official classes for the year had come to an end, staying in bed was on the top of my 'to do list' for the next few weeks.. ;)

After a few minutes of mixed thoughts running through my head, i had decided to just get up, and make the most of the last few times I'll be able to see all those crazy archi students before we go our separate ways next year.

After arriving at uni, I had noticed that I was one of the few that had made an effort to come in. Could have been because the 'Archi-party' last night, and the students were feeling a little hungover ill this morning...... After not knowing which classroom our 2nd year orientation was to be held, we were told to head up into the computer room, log in, and wait for the lecturer to arrive. After a few minutes, the lecturer had arrived and told us that we were to be creating our own blog, where we would be able to keep in contact with all our peers during our practical year. This would also be a way of seeking advice from outside of the classroom, through the help of lecturers and fellow students. I thought to myself this was a brilliant idea. Blogging had always been on my 'bucket list' and my time had eventually come, i was pretty amped about it to be honest...

After having set up our blog, through much blood, sweat and tears, we were rewarded with an hour and a half lunch break, and had decided to make a move to the nearest MaccyDees and fulfil that architectural kind of hunger.. :) After cleaning out the place, we had made our way back to campus, where we were to finish setting up our online portfolio blogging site and make sure we had joined the Facebook group of the Class of 2012.

On my way out, i had noticed a board that was pinned up, stating the names of all the students who's work was to be displayed on exhibition at some or other time of the year. I was luckily enough to have been on that list.. just made my head a little bigger <<< lol >>>  but congrads to the rest, you guys deserved it, to the rest, there' always 3rd year...?

After running for the train, dozing off in it, and praying i wouldn't miss my stop, i had eventually reached home, and a good nights rest was awaiting.. :)

till tomorrow
